Trey Songz slapped with 18 million dollar lawsuit

According to sources RnB sensation Trey Songz is being sued by a Washington DC based production company called Doc Mob, IHip Hop and Derrick Price. Not only are they suing Songz; Atlantic Records, Kodak, Kane Beatz and manager Gee Robertson are included in the suit filed in NYC on Feb 2nd. The lawsuit has to do with credit for producing Trey’s smash hit “Bottoms Up”.
Doc Mob initially hired producer James Milton to do the track under their imprint. James produced most of the track in Derrick Prices studio but later enlisted the help of popular producer Kane Beatz to lay the finishing touches. Doc Mob is upset that neither them nor Derrick Prices name was included in the liner notes on Trey Songz album Passion Pleasure Pain. Kodak is included in the suit due to their use of the track in their SoKodak campaign. Doc Mob claims they have attempted to reconcile multiple times with no resolve. Let’s hope this can be resolved out of court I’m sure Kodak or Atlantic Records can foot the bill no sweat.
